志愿者 Volunteers
奥斯汀长城中文学校的发展离不开义工们的无私支持。长城的义工主要分为成人义工和学生义工两类，其中学生义工占据了重要比例。
在长城中文学校每年举办的各类活动中，总能看到义工们忙碌的身影。他们的努力不仅确保了活动的顺利进行，增强了华人社区的凝聚力，也在实践中提升了自身的组织与沟通能力，培养了团队合作精神，收获了成长和成就感。
奥斯汀长城中文学校常年欢迎更多的志愿者加入到中文教学和推广的服务中来。志愿者工作内容和形式多样，包括协助理事会管理学校、网站管理、校内安全协理、教学、监考、整理和发放教科书等等。我们也欢迎高中生们跟我们联系。我们的中文课和数学课需要小助教们帮学生们批改作业和答疑。这样的义工机会是提升孩子们领导力的好机会，同时也帮他们积累义工时间。有意者请用我们的邮箱与理事会联系(board[at]agwcs.org)。

The success of the Austin Great Wall Chinese School (AGWCS) depends on the selfless support of its volunteers. Our volunteer force is comprised of two main groups, adults and students, with students playing a particularly significant role.
At every event organized by AGWCS throughout the year, our volunteers are a constant, busy presence. Their efforts not only ensure that activities run smoothly and strengthen our community cohesion, but also offer them practical experience. Through their service, volunteers enhance their organizational and communication skills, cultivate a spirit of teamwork, and gain a sense of personal growth and accomplishment.
The Austin Great Wall Chinese School is always looking for more volunteers to support our mission of Chinese language education and cultural & STEM classes. Volunteer roles are diverse, including assisting the Board of Directors with school administration, managing the website, coordinating campus safety, teaching, proctoring exams, and organizing textbook distribution.
High school students are encouraged to join us as junior teaching assistants for our Chinese and STEM classes, assisting with grading and student support. This is a key opportunity to build leadership skills and earn volunteer hours.
